The End of Game #20311 (fun game guys, thanks!) Nov 21, 2010
This is mostly for my reference, and kind of long, so yeah, no need to read if you don't want to. xD

Up until this moment, I had never felt proud of how I played. Every game I felt more like a floater than somebody who was actually playing. That all changed this game.

While the game was stalled, it gave me time to study the game, and the people playing. It wasn't too difficult to see there was a premade. I
had to rally people I didn't know up to get them out. The only person I knew going into this game was somebody I played with in my first ever game, back in March. I was alone.

It took a lot of effort, and the graciousness of those who accepted, but we managed to take out one. Unfortunately after that point, everyone was getting ancy and wanted to vote out inactives. Horribly, the inactives were on my side! I had to make a difficult decision.

In the end, on day 8, the two alliances were deadlocked. Four to one side, four to the other side. Unfortunately, by sheer luck, we lost the 3-3 tie. That was the beginning of the end.

My alliance was slowly taken out. I tried a last ditch move to make it to the finals, but by sheer luck of how the POV landed, that was the end for me.

You guys made the game so fun, and I can't complain about finishing 5th out of 15 with so many great players. And I'm proud of myself and how I played, and that I didn't need former friends to make it far, and that's what matters the most to me. =)

Eshy, Trish, Hollister, Dusty, thanks for helping me out during the game guys. No way it would have worked so well without you guys. <3

A Quick Game Option is Basically Pointless Nov 20, 2010
Castings games in the last 7 hours: 14
Castings games still on day 1 after one hour: 10 (71%)
Castings games that completed full 13 days: 1

Why employ a quick game option if it rarely ever happens? All you get is disappointed people who wanted a quick game which never happened. If you want to put in a quick game option, then make sure it becomes a quick game. Don't let one person ruin a game for fourteen people.

It Only Takes One! =( Nov 19, 2010
There really needs to be a way to work around people leaving quick games and turning it into a slow one, especially when a dozen or more other players were hoping for something quick.

With castings being FIFTEEN people, it only takes ONE person to leave for the game to come to a crashing halt.

There REALLY needs to be a better way around this, that can't be manipulated unfairly - whether it be a 20 minute limit per day, or a "quick game" alternative to an existing gametype. (such as one game created with 20 minute days, the other with full days)

But really, this site is about fun. It's about excitement. It's about ENTERTAINMENT. When you go into a game, hoping to have a few hours of fun that suddenly disappears... that truly is not fun at all - and that needs to be fixed.

WOW! Awesome game! =D Nov 13, 2010
Man... right when you think you had everything figured out. That you stood no chance... crazy **** goes down. xD

I can't believe I made it as far as I did, all the way to F4. I was nommed four different times, the first time on for 12th, and thought I had no chance. I was FRUSTRATED and down because I was against a tight alliance, but somehow... we got openings. Things happened, I worked out some strategic plays with my right-hand-man Superman11... and we made it farther. Thanks Superman, for telling me not to give up earlier in the game. "Not giving up" really rings so true now.

I'm still deciding on my jury vote. Both have their winner's qualities. =)

Anyhow...

Really, thanks for making it such a memorable game everyone. Super, Queen, Noel, Jets, Jon, it was great playing with you guys. Even if you may not have been on my side. ^^

Unofficial Games in Groups? Nov 12, 2010
Will this feature ever be added, or has it been discussed? I'm 99% sure it has, but I'm curious why this doesn't exist. It would seem like a great addition to the site in my opinion. I'd love to play a game here, for no T$ or karma in a group with just friends, and not have to deal with anything official. (you know, for FUN!)

Has Randomize considered this at all?

How do you tell who's in a premade? o.O Nov 6, 2010
I just had my first rookies game, and I guess I got a bunch of flack for not seeing a premade and vetoing one of them. How do you tell who's in a premade if there is one? I don't really go to this site often so I don't know who's friends with who. x)

And do POV competitions even do anything? It seems every time I finished a competition, it had already been decided. Was I wasting my time doing them? xD

Help a complete noob out!

EDIT: Would seeing them side by side in a game also be a clue?
