Tengaged Court = Principal's Office?

Apr 8, 2009 by Tec6062
imageDoes anyone else feel like the Tengaged Court is a bit like going to the principal office?  People create a thread complaining about someone and then the principal makes a ruling if they should be expelled or suspended from school.  My other issue is that with all of this now being public the threads that are supposed to be used for Banning requests and ruling simply denigrate into players arguing and making fun of each other.

How is this a constructive discussion on the banning of a player?

The idea of airing greiviences in a public forum is idiotic; people are going to attack each other and become defensive.  All these threads are going to do is create more conflict and more new threads of people complaining about what people are saying IN TENGAGED COURT!  This idea needs to be redesigned for it to truly serve the purpose Randomize intends it to accomplish.

This blog has nothing to do with attacking Essex or Genevere; I also appreciate your response in my previous blog Essex.  It is more a condemnation of the entire idea of a Judicial System on a SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE!  I told my wife about this yesterday and she laughed in my face(even more then she usually does abot me spending time on this site).

Tec again I understand some of your points, I honestly do, but the reason the Court was developed is because everyone's arguments/issues etc were being aired  in blogs anyway.  The majority of tengaged wanted to have a say and to know what was going on with regard to blacklistings/bannings etc.  I believe we felt that at least in the Court setting some resolution would at least be found in most of the more severe cases.
