I mean the syrian civil war and refugee crisis got an insane amount of news coverage 10 years ago when it was breaking (as it should it's an absolute atrocity) but the media and ppl moved on cause our society has a short attention span. this is an active situation that is rapidly developing just like Syria was in the early 2010s
