:) I realize I'm new. I realize I'm not fantastic at competitions yet and I'm far from the perfect competitor. But, I've met very few people in my short time here that have been, at the very least, polite to me - even when we're on the same team. I feel as though I have a growing list of people who want nothing to do with noobs, but brag about teaching them/taking them under their wings. So maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm literally the only one who can't get up to 500 on Snowflakes. I'm not angry about being constantly evicted, I'm irked that people *lol* at you when you don't know something about a game, or don't reply to you when you ask questions.
Nevertheless, this is a game. This whole site depends on new people coming it. I won't be surprised if more than half don't stay because of how they're treated.
