This relates to this stars but I guess any stars in general.
If you make it to F3 with someone in your friend group, don't you lose support? Like wouldn't it make sense to make F3 with people who don't share any of your friends in common so that all your friends don't have to pick between you and your friend?
I've never played Stars but I've always questioned why people want to play with their friends. You either get put up together or you have to have your finals support split in half

it鈥檚 just fun and if you actually pull it off it鈥檚 impressive but yeah it always does more harm than good
yeah going to f3 with a friend is objectively a bad strategy to have if you want to win Stars but it's hard to just say to a friend "im sending you home so i have a better chance to win," and if you don't win anyway you look like an asshole for doing that to a good friend.
