How do you date over tengaged and not see each other IRL?

ikr I don't understand it either. Like I understand having friends / best friends on here and never meeting them irl but I couldn't imagine dating someone on here and never like seeing them in person it just doesn't seem like a relationship to me. Not judging anyone who does it but it's not my cup of tea.
Well I have a bf that I met over TG and I see him every Saturday. I really don’t see how you could have a relationship and never see them tbh that’s not a relationship
Tbh dating someone long distance I feel like forces you to actually spend more time together (obviously not physical) but being able to spend hours chatting and messaging or even on call together adds up a lot more then just seeing your bf/gf once or twice a week for a couple hours as a date
Also if you're dating and not seeing each other in person, at least you know the other person isnt using you just for looks or sex... rather instead they like you for you and your personality and would be willing to wait for you :) which imo beats any sexual stuff that comes with a physical relationship.
But i do agree that seeing each other and visiting eventually is important and a necessity to further the relationship to the next step. And consistent visits and trips plus planning for the future is important. It might be a long and complicated process but if both people are in it for each other and love, itll work out. :) also i only sent this in 3 posts bc im on my phone that has a character limit lol
