We started dating in eighth grade then we broke up in junior year of high school. I was immature & had loyalty issues at the time.
She ended up moving schools and we went our separate ways. She showed up at my graduation in front of my family unexpectedly and even though it was awkward I knew she loved me but couldn’t deal with my unfaithfulness. We both got into other relationships and attempted to move on.
Five years later we had both gotten out of our relationships seemingly at the same time. And here we are in 2022 back together and happier than we’ve both ever been.
I just had to share this story because it means a lot to me and for anyone in a tough relationship w someone you love, don’t give up it could get better just as long as you both keep working on yourself.
