For the past three months, I have been pushing my body more than it should have been pushed. I was so focused on losing weight, that I didn't look at how much I was hurting myself. While I was working out today, I started feeling this horrible chest pain, almost like I was being punched in the chest. I didn't really think much of it, so I let it be. Tonight at work, the chest pain became so painful every time I took a deep breath, that the nurse that we called told my manager to call 911 ASAP. The paramedics arrived, and I was very nervous. They hooked me up to machines and took my blood pressure, and the rest of my "vitals". They told me that they recommend me going to the hospital, but it was my choice to go with them or not. I chose not to. They told me it was most likely me pushing my body beyond its breaking point, or even something more serious. They told me to go to the ER tomorrow if it still hurts. Altogether, tonight left me shook. I have lost 80 pounds so far, so I'm pretty happy with that.
