How would people react if someone horrible, say, Terry Deitz, came back, recognized he was horrible before, and tried to redeem himself, except he ACTUALLY DID? Let's say Terry becomes a great, likable, relatable character with a redemptive story arc. Would people still harbor residual hate toward him because of how badly he sucked in Panama, or would they realize that he no longer sucks and like his new self?
