So I went on a camping trip with my younger brother and my grandma this morning. We left at 8am this morning and its ten to eleven now ...
We started to get a storm, and I excpected only a minor storm, like rain/lightening/thunder. Only it was worse. Much worse. We got a /humungo/ wind storm. Much of our stuff was either damaged or flown into the river beside the campsite, as well as many other peoples belongings. We only salvaged what we could of our stuff. So we lost over half of our stuff from this dredful (sp?) storm. My hands are a bit cut up cause my brother was in the tent (stupid kid!!) and it had collapsed (He wanted his plush puppy), and so I was holding up the tent, well attempting to, and the wooden part of it snapped in my hand. >.>
So thankfully no one was hurt. (Except my hands and partly my head) Although it was all over the radio while we were hibernating in my grandmas car waiting for my dad to come and get us, cause my grandma couldnt drive in the weather.
The really only hilarious part about that was my younger brother lost his 5$ chair (Lol!) and so he was bouncing up and down bawling his eyes and screaming cause it was gone. LOL!
So it was a very fast camping trip ... I guess thats what we get for having a week of beautiful +30oC and up ... >.>
