Fantastic post about last night's episode!

All credit for this summary goes to /u/ressficent on the big brother subreddit:

"The editing in this episode was terrible because no one could have seen Judd's eviction coming. The circumstances leading up to it were complex, and the weird few seconds of the Goof Troop didn't do it justice at all.
The Goof Troop was formed as a Final 4 alliance between McCrae, Amanda, Andy, and Judd. That's literally all they showed on the show tonight. Now, what they didn't tell you is that this formation happened just around the time that Amanda got put up for the first time as MVP nom (right before or after, I can't remember), before she started getting paranoid about who put her up.
The house opinion (read: Amanda's opinion) started going toward Judd as being the MVP. He was essentially excommunicated from the Goof Troop after that, and the remaining three members went on to reform the alliance with Aaryn in Judd's place.
Maybe you start to see now why Andy's NOT running scared to Helen, why Helen was NOT truly behind Judd's eviction, and why Helen basically CANNOT win the game.
The new Goof Troop (with Aaryn, Amanda, McCrae, and Andy) is by far the strongest alliance in the game right now, and they've been completely neglected on the edit. Expect many flashbacks this coming week, because there's a lot of retroactive explaining to do about Judd's eviction.
It really happened because Amanda suspected Judd was the MVP, and was still also suspicious of Judd because of the grasshopper alliance "lie" (which was featured on the show a bit, but they left out most of the backlash when everyone thought Judd was just stirring shit up). Amanda sent out her allies, Aaryn and Andy, to Helen, who thinks that they are in truth her main allies, and had them convince Helen that Judd had to go. The key part is, however, that they convinced her that it had to be done in such a way that she thought she came up with the idea herself. Helen truly believes that she masterminded this move, and is too stupid/outgoing to hide it, so now Judd thinks the same.
Amanda, McCrae, and Andy were talking about this just a few minutes ago on the feeds. They were talking about how their plan worked perfectly, and recounting how Judd hugged them but not Helen and Elissa. They know that he wouldn't vote for Helen or Elissa in the finals and if he comes back into the game (which I'm guessing he will) he will be going after Helen because she portrayed herself as the instrument of his downfall.
Where does this eviction leave us? We've got the Goof Troop running things. We've got Helen's squad, with Elissa, Andy, and Aaryn. Two of these people are really plants from GT, so you can basically chalk up Helen and Elissa as GT votes as well (since this week showed that they can be easily manipulated). GT will probably use them to play the bad guys in evictions like they did with Judd this week, securing jury votes for themselves down the line. We've got GM, who doesn't seem to know where she is 99% of the time and will do what Aaryn tells her to. Another GT vote. Then we have the largely unaligned Jessie and Spencer. It's been empirically proven that Jessie will ultimately go with the house every time, as much as she hates it. Spencer will do whatever he has to do to get through the week.
This amounts to an extremely boring game for the rest of the summer, I fear. I think the GT will just string everyone along week to week. Jessie and Spencer will probably be the first to go, then if Helen/Elissa win HOH Gina-Marie will be cut, if not I think they'll put up Helen and Elissa together. By then it's too late, Helen and Elissa have basically no chance. They'll be vastly outnumbered, and anyone who tries to turn will be the next to go. Final 4 is a competition tossup. If Aaryn or Andy win, I think McCrae and Amanda will be split up, though I'm not 100% who will go home. If McCrae or Amanda win Andy will probably be sent packing. Not sure about Final 3, honestly.
Sorry that was so long, but I really wanted to just get across that the editing has been poor and that Helen is not in as powerful of a position as she or most of this sub seems to think.
EDIT: I didn't take into account a player returning in the predictions part of this post. That could potentially shake things up, but I don't think it will really. It will be too late for a Candice(or Jessie)/Helen/Elissa resurgence, and Judd/Spencer would just help the GT further until they get evicted again."
