First of all, my condolences to those who died and to those whose family members died in the 9/11 attack of the Twin Towers.. Rest in peace to them all. But this blog is about something else: people give so much attention to the September 11th, 2001 attack that they forget about the mayhem and terrorist attacks that go on throughout the world, specifically the Middle East. My home country of Iraq was bombed down to (basically) ruins... Yet people seem to forget that so quickly. At least 500,000 deaths were reported in Iraq due to violent causes between 2003 to 2011, and this was due to the American government waging war on my innocent country for alleged "weapons of mass destruction" (but it was bullshit, in case you didnt know). That's terrorism at its finest; George W. Bush attacked a country and destroyed its landmarks, its homes, its people, and its pride as a nation under false allegations. I just wanted to make this blog post to commemorate the people who have died due to terrorist attacks ALL OVER the world, as well as NYC.
