So you took a risk submitting a song before the 1980s, but this actually is one that I know. I don't know if it can rank higher than others but I do know the song and sang along. It's just not something that I would listen to on a daily basis.
First of all, let me say, I was never a big fan of Miley. There are a few songs that I like but I just didn't go crazy about her. Secondly, I was never a fan of the original version of this song. This cover was good but honestly though, I wasn't thrilled about it.
This is the ONLY Alan Jackson song that I liked and I used to listen to it all the time. So good job on that. However, I stopped listening to Alan Jackson a long time ago because every time that I would see him, he would remind me of my cousin. I always thought they looked so much alike and so I completely stopped listening to Alan Jackson because I always saw my cousin singing instead and it was weird.
The song isn't bad, let me say that first. However, I wanted a song by a known country duo or group. This was just a duet between two solo country artists, so it didn't really fit the theme.
So I know the song, so that's a plus. However, it isn't one that I listened to a lot. It's a good song but I just never found it memorable, I guess you could say.
Your song was good and didn't put you at the bottom, so that's something to congratulate you on. However, as I said, I have history with this song and so I couldn't put it at the top. I'm sorry!
Both of your songs were amazing and emotional. I loved both of these songs and it was slightly difficult and wrong to say that I preferred one over the other, but one song did rank slightly higher than the other.
Both songs were good in their own way, but I just preferred the other submissions more. Between both of your songs, there was one that I liked listening to just a tad more.
Me not being a big fan of Miley Cyrus or the song is the reason why you are at the bottom. It's just not something I would listen to again and I'm sorry.

Both of your songs, in both categories, were amazing and you both really rose to the occasion. Listening to your two songs multiple times trying to decide which one would come out on top was one of the hardest decisions in this competition that I've had to make.
You KILLED it this episode. Being at the top of both categories is really making you a threat in this competition and will be tough to beat. I hope you can keep up this momentum. CONGRATULATIONS!
I'm really sorry about this but your submission didn't really fit the theme. This was a duet between two amazing Solo Artists. I wanted a song sung by a known Country Music Duo or Group.
