It may be bitchy, but I'd never gift someone from a gift away. :| I gift people based on how friendly they are and the fact that they go around and plus and message on people's boards for the sake of being nice.

That's probably how I'd do. I'd like to gift someone I've gotten to know and who was nice and friendly to me. Plus, it would make you feel better than gifting a random stranger. Just my opinion.
