-Sasha, Callie & Jamal are eating sushi-
Callie - So in a week… at the church, we are getting married. It’s gonna be really cute, you and the bridesmaids all wear pink and then I’ll wear my beautiful white dress. It’ll be very princess themed, and I’ll be like becoming Queen, and him King, like a coronation.
Jamal - We had to think on our feet, haha!
Callie - And not just rings, we’ll be putting CROWNS on each other.
Jamal - Again, her idea, she’s a creative genius, I tell ya!
-Sasha’s fake smile is almost hurting her face-
Callie - So, what do you think?
Sasha - It sounds…. AMAZING.

*AT HER HOUSE*
Sasha, on the phone with Alexa - It sounds so tacky… are you doing better by the way?
*AT THE HOSPITAL*
Alexa, on the phone - I mean, physically, yeah… I’m cleared to leave today, but apparently Toyota is free to just keep walking around these streets, because Mason is an unreliable source. No one has any legal repercussions.
Sasha - Why not?!
Alexa - Lexi went to see the cops earlier, she was pissed, and apparently she got 0 answers.
*EARLIER THAT DAY, AT THE POLICE STATION*
Lexi stomps in - May I speak to Deputy Path or any sheriff that was there a few days ago when Alexa got shot and Toyota got stabbed?
Officer Franklin - That would be me, and I know just what you want to talk about.
Lexi yelling in his office - Why does Toyota get to shoot my friend without any repercussions whatsoever? Do we just get to shoot random people on the streets willy nilly now?!
Officer Franklin - There is no evidence of malicious intent in any of this, and for all we know, Mason could’ve knifed her and forced her to shoot Alexa.
Lexi - THAT ISN’T WHAT ALEXA SAID HAPPENED.
Officer Franklin - Mason could have threatened her, brainwashed her, she lost a lot of blood.
Lexi - She was shot in the leg.
Officer Franklin - Getting stabbed can influence your aim.
Lexi - UGH, why do we keep on these hypotheticals and just go for the obvious truth?
Officer Franklin - Sometimes the obvious is what we’re intended on seeing.
-Lexi flips him off and stomps out-
*AT SASHA’S HOUSE, NOW*
Sasha, on the phone - So, she still pissed?
Alexa, on the other line - I don’t know, I haven’t seen her in a bit. She should be coming back any second now, though.
*IN THE HOSPITAL, NOW*
Lexi walks in and stops at Will - Do you know anything? About what is going on? Cuz there is no logical explanation as to why Toyota should be walking free.
Will - I….. I don’t know.
Lexi - I’m tired of not being given answers. So speak up.
Will - I don’t know.
Lexi - I am trying really hard not to snap at you… What is going on?
Will - How do you know I know?
Lexi - We’re both the smartest people I know. You know what’s going on. And if you didn’t you’d be just as curious as me.
Will - Damn… You’re way more observant than I thought.
Lexi - I’ve had a lot of free time. Had my life turned out differently, I’d probably be here with you right now, and I’d have damn answers.
Will whispers - You can’t let anyone know. Or it’d get us all in trouble. Seriously, this could become a legal problem. So, you can’t tell ANYONE. It could hurt Alexa in particularly. I can’t express this enough.
Lexi - I promise. If this impacts Alexa or my own life, then my lips are sealed.
Will pulls her into a closet - Mason is… well first things first is slightly related to Ally.
Lexi - What?! How?
Will - His grandfather is Ally’s grandfather.
Lexi - Noooo…
Will - His grandfather got married with some chick. Got her pregnant and murdered her when she had the baby. The baby got dropped off at an orphanage or foster home or what not. That’s when he got adopted by who now is Mason’s grandparents. They’re dead now, beside the point. But, Ally’s grandfather, who got killed after stemming one of the most notorious murder sprees of all time, is Mason’s grandfather. They are related.
Lexi - What even is that…
Will - Someone said cousins?
Lexi - That doesn’t sound right… would they be half siblings of some sort? But none of their parents are the same. Only grandparents?
Will - Would that be cousins then?
Lexi - Maybe by blood.
Will - Well, yeah, and that’s it.
Lexi - They think he masterminded all that?
Will - It makes sense, though, doesn’t it?
Lexi - It seems like a stretch.
Will - It’s reasonable doubt. To my knowledge nothing is happening to Mason, so it’s all good. Just nothing is happening to Toyota too. Unless evidence arises.
Lexi - So nothing is happening to anybody because that place didn’t have cameras or anything.
Will - That’s probably the case. Toyota is getting the guns taken away from her family, they weren’t licensed anyways because her cop brother died.
Lexi - I didn’t know about that.
Will - It’s just a messy situation. But when we get solid evidence we’ll go along with it.
Lexi - What about Alexa? She vows it was Toyota.
Will - She lost a lot of blood. Mason could’ve threatened her. He is the blood descendant of a notorious serial killer.
Lexi rubs her fingers through her hair - Ugh… I still don’t trust Toyota… but I’m starting to feel like the only eyes I can trust are my own.
Will - I’m here for you and your family. Are you going to Sasha’s sister’s wedding next week? I heard Alexa talking about it.
Lexi - No, I’m staying back with my mom.
Will - I can take her if you’d want to go?
Lexi - I also totally don’t support their relationship.
Will - Oh, makes sense.
Lexi - You can come by?
Will - I do still have to work, but I can come by super late! Just as a friendly check in?
Lexi smiles - Sounds amazing!
*IN ALEXA’S HOSPITAL ROOM*
Lexi walks in - Hey!
Alexa - You’ve been gone forever.
Lexi - I had pressing matters to attend to.
Alexa - Ugh, can you drive me home? I don’t want my parents to feel obligated to get me.
Lexi - Don’t you need parental signing off to pick you up?
Alexa - You’re legally an adult, so… I assume you can just handle me.
-Lexi nods, considering telling Alexa this information, but ultimately just walks out of the room-
*THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING*
-Sasha walks home from a wedding party and starts to comb her hair in her room-
Shania walks into Sasha’s room - I just wanted to say… you’re an amazing daughter, and Callie is lucky to have a sister who cares so much.
Sasha nods - I love you. I know you can’t control Callie, it was delusional and selfish of me to blame you at all.
Shania - It’s because you care so much. And Callie deserves that. Callie couldn’t have a better sister, truly… but…
-Sasha sighs-
Shania - If Callie gets hurt by Jamal, if he leaves her and breaks her heart. Know it’s not your fault. Set yourself free of that heartbreak. Most marriage ends in divorce or separation. You can’t put that baggage on your back.
Sasha - I just know he’s not good enough for her. He’s dangerous.
Shania - Aren’t most men?
Sasha sighs - She doesn’t deserve most.
Shania - She wants most.
Sasha - It’s just… Jamal.
Shania - If it’s not meant to be she’ll notice.
Sasha whispers - Ally didn’t get a second chance. What if Jamal killed her?
Shania - We can’t live our future assuming anyone with connection with Ally is the killer. That’d leave us with no one.
Sasha - Ugh… you’re so logical. Thank you for this talk… I really think I got more perspective from it.
Shania - I love you.
Sasha - Thanks, I love you too.
-Shania kisses Sasha’s Head and walks out-
Sasha looks up at the sky and sits down - I really don’t know what to do… Callie is getting married. Because she’s pregnant. And she’s moving to California. All with someone who was in questioning for the murder of my best friend and his half sister. Ally would tell me to let Callie handle Callie, but with all that I know… with “A” around… how do I know “A”’s not Jamal? If she knew about “A”, Would she still be doing this? Do I tell her about “A”? I know I can’t get answers just by, what would I call this? Is this praying? But, I feel like this is some sort of therapeutic stuff. So, if you can give me a sign or something. Do I just let this ride out? Even if I feel like Callie can be put in danger? I do think I have problems of my own, but I feel like this is included in my problems. Family is all for one. We need to have each other’s back, right? Right. I’m gonna talk to her one last time tomorrow. That’s it. I need my thoughts heard. So I can at least say I tried. That’s it. I have to.
*THE NEXT DAY, AT THE GIGANTIC CHAPEL/CHURCH*
-Sasha and Callie are in the back, in the bridal room. Callie is totally calm-
Sasha - You’re not at all nervous?
Callie - The nerves died down when I realized… this is what I want. Always has been. Always will.
Sasha - I… *sighs* I still don’t condone this..
Callie - I’m a big girl, I can take care of myself, AND—
Sasha - But I want you happy. So, I can’t take my sister's happiness selfishly for granted. *hugs Callie* Be careful, but I’m so happy for you.
Callie smiles - That literally means so much to me.
Sasha - You mean everything to me, and I don’t think you'd pack up and marry him just because of a baby. Maybe that sped things up, but you see something in him, and you’re going all the way with him, I have to try and see it too.
Callie - Jamal is amazing. I don’t think he killed Ally, if I did I wouldn’t even consider this.
Sasha - If you ever have any doubt just run. Safety first. Come back here.
Callie - Don’t worry. I’m smart and strong, I’ll figure it out.
Sasha - Just be careful.
Callie - I will. *smiles and walks out of the room*
-Sasha stays behind, breathing heavily, and then looks in the mirror, wearing her pink fluffy dress, and wipes tears away-
*IN THE CHURCH*
-Sarah and Jason awkwardly sit next to each other-
Jason - Where’s his real dad?
Sarah - I hope dead.
Jason - Oh.
Sarah - How have you been doing?
Jason - My only daughter is dead.
Sarah - Well, now your kind of son is getting married.
Jason - It’s not the same. He’s not mine at all.
Sarah - We’re still married.
Jason - For a few more days. Then I’m out of this entirely.
Sarah - I didn’t ask for this.
Jason - Yes you did, you are the one who suggested a divorce.
Sarah - I didn’t mean it.
Jason - You want to stay married?
Sarah - No.
Jason - Then you meant it, and you did ask for this.
Sarah - It’s different now that Ally is gone and Jamal is in California. All I have left is Jared.
-Jared is silent, sitting next to them-
Sarah whispers to Jason - He isn’t exactly recovered.
Jared - I can still hear… and talk.
Sarah mouths to Jason - So edgy.
Jason - Ugh, whatever. *takes out a flask* Want a sip?
Sarah - No, I’m trying to sober up. The pain never goes away. I have learned alcohol doesn’t do anything but mask it.
Jason - Well, Peace Be with you. *gets up*
Sarah - Where are you going?
Jason - Got a phone call. *goes outside*
-Alexa & Sharon are a few seats away, getting ready to turn their phone off when they both receive a text at the same time and they both look at each other-
Alexa - Let’s just… turn our phones off and…. let that be that.
Sharon - Deal. *turns phone off*
Alexa turns her phone off and sighs - Are you nervous for Callie? I kind of am.
Sharon - Define nervous? I don’t think “A” is a serial killer. I think it was a one time thing. Well, assuming “A” killed Ally. Either way, I think Ally is the sole victim.
Alexa - How can you say that, though? After your kidnapping.
Sharon - You got shot by Toyota? Maybe that’s our answer there?
Alexa - They both talked about it being their job. I feel like there’s more to it than that.
Sharon - Either way, we both survived. And, I don’t think “A” would take Callie and move to Cali anyways.
Alexa - I’m not suggesting he’s “A”, I’m suggesting he could’ve killed Ally.
Sharon - Anyone could’ve killed Ally, and again, I don’t think this is a series of murders. Especially since it’s been a year. Slowest serial killer of all time, that’d be.
Alexa - Despite contrary opinion, I believe lightning can strike the same place twice. And the chances of that happening increases with time.
Sharon - All I know is we can’t stop this, it’s too late. We have to live with that, and Callie is more likely than not, going to be perfectly fine.
-Alexa pouts, readjusting her crutches out of the way-
-Jason sits back down next to Sarah, as the music starts-
*IN THE BACK ROOM
-Sasha plugs her turned off phone into the charger-
Callie - You don’t have to keep your phone off.
Sasha - Oh, it’s just literally dead. I need it to at least be functional after this.
Callie - Okay. *smiles* Now let's have a wedding.
Callie starts to walk down the aisle but Christopher stops her - Hey, doll.
-Sasha’s jaw drops-
Callie starts to cry - Dad?
Christopher - How can you walk down the aisle without your father?
Callie hugs him - I didn’t think you could make it… or even worse, wanted to.
Christopher - I would never miss such an occasion.
-Sasha wipes tears away as they start to get ready to walk down the aisle-
Callie notices Jamal isn’t at the other side yet and she whispers to one of her bridesmaids - What’s taking him so long?
*AT THE HOSPITAL*
Lexi opens her phone and gets a text - “This Wedding is about to get killer. -A”
Lexi - Oh my god. *runs out of the hospital, and runs into her car*
*AT THE WEDDING*
-Jamal runs into the doorway and starts to walk down the aisle-
-Callie sighs of relief, and he gets to the other side of the aisle, so Callie can start walking with her father-
Alexa whispers to Sharon - Oh my gosh, this is so emotional, their father came back to walk her down the aisle.
Minister - *does vow mess* Do you, Jamal Farrow, take Callie Drew to be your wife. *blah blah blah wedding stuff idk*
Jamal - I do.
*IN THE CAR, SPEEDING DOWN THE STREET*
Lexi - Please please please please.
*AT THE WEDDING*
Minister - You may now kiss the bride.
-They kiss-
-Sarah cries and claps-
-Shania and Sasha hug, smiling at their now content emotions towards this-
A woman, pointing at something overhead - AHHHHHH!
-Sasha whips her head and notices the decomposed body of Gemma Belle Salinas, pinned down with knives on a cross high above the church grounds, and her mouth drops open-
*SOON THE COPS COME*
-Callie and Jamal sit down, getting questioned by officers-
Lexi runs in - Is everything okay? *runs up to Sasha, Alexa and Sharon-
Sasha - I just opened my phone. Nobody knew died. Just Gemma’s body again.
Alexa - How did nobody notice it until just then? I’m so confused. Was she there the entire time, cuz if so…. we’ve been here for like an hour, how did nobody see that.
Sasha - I seriously can’t imagine it have being there all day. It had to be very recently and very calculated.
-Jason takes out his flask, and takes another sip, and starts to cough-
Sarah runs up to Jason - Babe, are you okay?!
Jason coughs out blood - UGH.
Sarah - SOMEBODY HELP.
-Jason collapses-
Sarah - JASON, DON’T LEAVE ME, PLEASE NO.
Callie starts crying and freaking out - WHAT IS HAPPENING…
*AT THE POLICE STATION*
-Callie and Jamal sit next to each other, still wearing their wedding attire-
Callie, in shock - My Wedding has a body count.
Jamal - My sort of dad is dead. What do we do?
Callie - I’ve never been to a wedding before. I didn’t expect my first to be the same week as my wedding.
Jamal - We don’t have to go.
Callie - It happened at my wedding. I feel like it’d be just common courtesy to show up to the funeral.
Jamal - We still have our honeymoon.
Callie - It has to wait, someone is DEAD. Someone in our extended family at that.
Jamal - The day after the funeral we have to go. At this point we just deserve it.
Callie - Trust me, I need a break more than anyone.
Sasha sits by Callie and leans her head on her shoulder - I’m so sorry this happened to you.
Callie cries - Don’t be sorry for anything. This is so terrible. How did that even happen.
Sasha sighs - I wish I knew.
Callie cries - At least… I have people. People who are here for me now... And always will be. *hugs Sasha, and Jamal puts his hand on her shoulder to comfort her*
*AT THE HOSPITAL*
Will looks at Jason’s charts - This makes no sense.
Lexi walks in - What does it say?
Will - These results don’t make any sense. These don’t suggest anything that could’ve killed him.
Lexi - What do you mean?
Will - I think he got poisoned.
Lexi doesn’t even pretend to be shocked - Tell me if you figure anything out.
Will - They’ve playing this off like it was natural causes… but he was perfectly healthy.
Lexi - Just…. be careful. Don’t push your luck too much… *whispers* But when you figure this out. Immediately come to me. Not the cops. Nobody else. Me first.
Will - That’s what I honestly always do.
Lexi - Keep it that way. *walks out*
*3 YEARS AGO*
Ally walks into the empty church, and looks up at the windows - I’m gonna get married here one day… *stares at someone else in the church* I’m also going to die here one day. My death is going to be… cinematic. My body is going to be hung. Here. On the Cross. Like Jesus Christ. Imagine that. Total symbolism for passing. Getting into the arms of Jesus Christ. Not only that, being hung up there. Crucified. It’s not going into his arms. It’s the transition from human to angel. This could be symbolism. Or total irony. I never learned much about God or the Bible. I’m probably on my way down to Hell, though. But, no matter what. My death will be poetic.
A voice - How will you manage to do that if you’re dead?
Ally - Doll, it’s chess not checkers. If you’re a planner like me, you’re steps ahead from the afterlife. I planned out my entire death already. If someone puts a wrench in my plan, I’ll just replace their chess piece… You, you’re just a pawn.
A voice - Why are you telling me this then?
Ally - Sometimes pawns can make the sacrificial moves needed in the game.
A voice - Life isn’t a game.
Ally - Life is the biggest game. We are all just board pieces. The only thing is… no one wins. No one loses. We just wait to get played by it. I am just planning ahead of my current move.
*PRESENT DAY, IN THE HOSPITAL*
Sharon walks in - Everyone is freaking out.
Lexi walks up to her - Yeah, not everyone is used to the whole dead body thing, yet.
Sharon - Where’s Sasha?
Lexi - With Callie.
Sharon - Alexa?
Lexi - I assume she went home.
*IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS*
-Alexa walks into a shed, opens a box, takes a gun out, and makes sure it’s loaded-
Alexa - I’m ready. *she turns around and stares at Mason* I want to kill Toyota.
