Tragic how much history is unknown and kept hidden. I learned so much from this book, and it is another shameful portrait of the heinous acts afflicted upon indigenous tribes. It's so frustrating that politicians only want to focus on "the greatness" of the USA, but don't want to acknowledge any of the awful details of our history that still contribute to generational trauma for so many people.
