Clementine walks along side Omid and Christa.
She spots a house and goes towards it. " Guys I found a house!"
Christa and Omid follow her.
" Christa can I have the gun to check the house?"
Christa hands him the rifle.
Clementine opens the door and looks around
" Clear down here."
Omid goes up the stairs while Christa sits on the couch in the living room.
She notices in the fire pit there is a letter burned.
Christa opens it and begins reading.
" My dearest Sarah, Your father will take care of you and get you through this epidemic. I won't make it due to cancer. I love you so much baby girl
and please be strong and never give up. Do everything your father says. I wish I could come with you but i just can't. Sarah I love you and never ever
lose to those monsters. I wish you and your father the best of luck in survival. One day I'll see you again, but for now farewell my daughter. Love mommy."
Christa begins crying, and then screaming. Clementine runs to her shouting for Omid. The baby was coming and she was bot ready for it.
Omid found some spare blankets and towels and helped Christa pushed.
Banging sounds started happening at the door. Clementine checked out the window and walkers were swarming the house.
Clem told Omid and he freaked out. Christa finally gave one last push after 5 minutes and the baby was out.
Omid held it and cried as it was alive and beautiful.
Clementine smiled at the new born and then the door snapped. Walkers piled in and Clementine screamed.
" Omid you have to leave me." Christa cried
" Get Clementine and the baby away from here now!" She cried more.
" I will never leave you Christa!" Omid shouted raising his gun to the walkers.
BAM!
The baby began crying instantly.
Clementine pushed the back door down and told everyone to hurry.
Omid helped up Christa and the baby and they ran.
*15 Months later*
Christa sat on the log staring at the food that would not cook.
" Christa I have to find something to get that food cooking." Omid sadly said.
Clementine sat there quietly staring at the trees beyond her. She looked at every little detail and thought about Lee. She had missed him so much.
" Clementine make sure what's left of the fire still burns." Omid said.
" Ok just don't get into trouble." Clem said back.
Christa watched as her husband walked away.
" I miss Lee." Clementine told Christa.
Christa continued to stare at the fire.
Clementine got up and walked into the woods looking around. She saw some fresh wood but could not lift it. She decided to see if Christa would help her. She went back
to camp and was in complete shock.
" Where are your people!" One man shouted.
Another man kicked the food off the fire.
" Pathetic." He whispered.
" WHERE ARE THEY!" He angrily shouted.
" It's just me." Christa replied. Clementine looked over and saw Omid aproached carefully with the gun.
" Lies." The man yelled.
Omid aimed the rifle and shot a guy through the neck. Clementine threw a rock at the others back.
" AH!" He yelled and fell. Christa got up and kicked the gun from his hands.
A guy ran up behind Clementine and covered her mouth so she couldn't scream.
" Shh bequiet." The man whispers.
Clementine bites his fingers and runs to Omid.
" Clemetine where wer." BLAM!
Omid gets shot through the arm from the guy behind Clementine. Guy surrounded the 3.
" Ow." Omid begins to tear up as his arm is in a stinging pain.
Christa holds him.
" Now you folk shouldn't mess with a group like us." A man yells.
Clementine pulls the gun from her back pack and shoots the guy in the leg. He falls and the man begin shooting.
" Run!" Clementine yells.
Christa, Omid, and Clem start running avoiding every bullet.\
Christa tripped and pushed Omid in front of her. Clementine looked around. Walkers began to surround them as a few people tried to catch up with them.
Omid tried helping Christa up but his arm was in to much pain. Christa pulled herself up and they were surrounded. Clementine had no choice but to jump
in the raging river beyond her.
" Clem no!" Christa yelled.
" We have to go in after her!" Omid said.
Then the 2 jumped as the other group just had made it. Omid held onto Christa and she tried swimming to Clementine.
" I'm to much to drag just let me rest on a rock for a bit, ill head down stream to find you both." Christa tells Omid.
" I'm not gonna let you go." Omid pronounced.
" Please Clem isn't gonna survive on her own." Christa pleads.
" Fine, I love you so much Christa." Omid says letting go.
Christa swims quickly to a rock and holds on watching Omid float away.
" Bye Christa." He whispers.
*THE NEXT DAY*
Clementine looks around. She sees Omid on a rock nearby blacked out.
" Omid!" She yells to him.
She gets up and runs over to check on him. She scoops up water and splashes it onto him. Then Clem looks at his shoulder which had dryed blood around it.
" Please Omid." She begins to cry.
" I don't want to be alone again." Clementine continues to cry out.
She runs over to the half broken dock and falls to the ground in tears. ' Thats it I have to move on. Everyone is dead, and gone. Forget them, they died and
you lived. You are much stronger than you think Clementine.' Clem leaves her thoughts and looks at Omid one last time. Then out of nowhere he spits up water
and wakes up. He looks around.
" Clementine!" Omid looks at Clem.
Clementine gets up and runs over to him.
" Are you okay Omid?" Clem asks.
" I think I'll be ok for now. We need to find Christa." He says.
" Ok, if you can move, we leave now." Clementine says assertively.
" I can do that." Omid says.
He sits up and groans due to the pain in his arm. He stands and turns to the river.
" Let's go." Omid says. Omid and Clementine climb up the stairs and head into the woods.
" Maybe she went into the forest." Omid says.
Clementine spots a sign. It says that there are dangerous animals in the forest. Then she hears a bunch of crows fly away.
The 2 continue on for hours. Clementine spots a wild dog tearing at a tent. She points to it.
" Stay back he could have rabies." Omid says.
" Hey boy over here!" Clementine yells.
The dog runs over and barks. Omid pets it and looks at the collar.
" Sam is his name." Clem says.
Then Sam runs away and the 2 chase him.
" Where do you think he's going?" Clementine asks.
" Maybe to a food source, we sure need some."
Omid and Clementine stumble apon an old camp sight. They sit down and sigh.
" Where is some food when you need it." Omid sighs once more.
Sam runs over to the trash can and knocks it down.
" Shh boy that could attract walkers." Clementine whispers.
Omid notices a can of beans and goes over and picks it up.
" Hope these arent rotten, we need to find something to open this can." Omid says.
Sam runs over to a tree and begins to bark.
" Do you ever stop Sam." Clem laughs.
She walks over and her face lights up. A walker was sitting at the tree tangled by ropes.
" Hey Omid can you help me get this knife out of this walker." Clem shouts.
" Sure Clem, we need it to open the can." Omid walks over to her.
" Wait Clem you should kill the walker so your use to doing it. You haven't killed very many before." Omid hands her a big stick to hit the walker.
WACK!
She hits the alker 4 times and it dies. She takes the knife out of it's chest and hands it to Omid. He puts 3 holes in the lid and reveals the beans.
" YES!" Omid shouts.
Clementine looks at the beans.
" Mmm looks good." She says.
Omid gives her a handful and then scoops out some for himself. He begins to chow down on his meal until Sam starts to wine. A walker stumbles from the bush
and he begins to bark.
"crap!" Omid quickly sets the can down. But then Sam attacks the can and begins to eat the food.
" ugh! Clem kill the walker." He hands her the knife.
" Sam this is our food!" Omid yells.
He tries to grab the can but Sam growls at him. He jumps onto Omid and bites his arm. He yells in pain as he falls landing on his bad shoulder.
" Omid!" Clem yells.
The walker falls onto Clem and Omid kicks the dog away. He grabs the knife that landed by his side. He crawls over and stabs the walker. Luckily Clem didn't get
bit.
" That was a bit to close for comfort." Omid groans.
" Your arm is bleeding Omid." Clem sounds worried. Omid notices Clementine's arm.
" No Clem, no!" He points to her arm.
" No Omid I wasn't bit I just fell on a rock, see." She points to the bloody rock that she fell on.
" Oh thank god." Omid said.
Clementine helped Omid onto the log and he groaned in pain. Clementine looked for the dog but he was gone.
" We should go it isn't safe here because of the barking." Clementine tells omid.
Clementine and a hurt Omid head deeper into the woods.
" Clementine I have to stop I feel dizzy." Omid tells her.
" What if you are infected?" Clementine asks.
" Don't worry Clem i'm fine, I just want rest." He pouts. Clementine points to a cave that they could go sit in. Omid stumbles over there but then passes out onto
the ground. Clementine drags him in and it begins raining. She sits there tiredly and cold. She sees 1 or 2 walkers come by but she doesn't care and falls asleep
next to Omid.
* THE NEXT DAY *
" Clementine RUN!" Omid shouts. Walkers fill the entrance of the cave. Omid gets up and kicks one back barely. Clementine bursts through the crowd beating them.
Omid falls back as 4 walkers surround him. Clementine grabs a rock and throws it t a walker. It falls foward and Omid dashes threw. Walkers are everywhere.
" Clementine, I don't think i can make it far with my arm and shoulder damaged." Omid pouts.
" No Omid please!" Clementine cries. The 2 begin slowly running but they fall. Thengun shots fill the air. Omid looks back and sees a group of people. Clementine
looked very shocked at the people.
" Are you guys alright." A hispanic man asked.
" Not really." Clementine replies sadly.
" What happened?" An older man asked.
" Walkers nearly got us killed." Omid responded.
" Wait what's on your arm!?" A brown haired guy asked.
" I got bit by a dog." Omid replies.
" Carlos can you take a look at that?" The older guy said.
" Sure, can I see it?" Carlos asks.
" Here." Omid stretches his arm out carefully.
" It was a dog named Sam who bit him, I kicked him away and he ran." Clementine softly spoke.
" Of course you would say that, your his friend!" A guy with a hat said.
" No it's true he came and attacked Omid." Clementine angrily responds.
" It could be anything, but first we should find a shelter." Carlos says.
" By the way I'm Pete, this is Nick, The cap boy, Luke, The brown haired one, Sarah, the little girl, Rebecca, the older woman, Alvin, the man there, and the quiet
one is Vincent."
" Nice to meet you all." Clementine says.
" Wait what is wrong with your shoulder?" Carlos asks Omid.
" I got shot by another group who robbed us." Omid replies.
" Could be Carver, which means we have to move quick." Pete says.
" Who is Carve?" Omid asks.
" No time we have to find a shelter and get away from him." Carlos tells everyone. The group walks fast with Omid falling behind a bit. Clementine sticks with him
to make sure he is ok. While there walking the come across an abbandoned house. They enter and search it. No walkers or bodies luckily. Rebecca finds some candles
and lights them throughout the house. Pete takes watch and Luke finds plenty of food and water for the group. Clementine settles in a room with Sarah.
Downstairs Carlos keeps an eye on Omid and helps out with his arm, using medicine and some ace bandages.
" Thank you for taking us in even with my injuries." Omid tells Carlos.
" Guys walkers are roaming around out there." Pete quietly shouts.
" Oh look at that, I found the keys to this house." Rebecca exclaims. She and Alvin bunk on the lower floor room. Pete will sleep on the couch, Carlos and Sarah in
one room upstairs. Luke in another room, and Omid and Clementine in another bed.
" Hey Clementine you can have the whole bed, I'm okay on the floor." Omid tells Clem.
" No you need to heal your arm and shoulder up I am going to take the floor." Clem responds.
" It's true you do need the bed for better rest." Carlos pitches in.
" Hey Clem can you go upstairs and talk to Sarah, we haven't come across a girl at her age since the one from Carver's camp?" Carlos asks.
Clementine climbs up the stairs and enters Sarah's room.
" Hi Clementine." Sarah pipes up.
" Hi Sarah, are you ok?" Clem asks.
" Yeah i'm fine why?" She asks.
" I just wanted to know." Clem tells her.
" I was wondering, do you wanna be friends, I mean the only other girl I know is Rebecca and she doesn't really get me.?" Sarah asks.
" Um I guess we can be friends." Clem responds.
" I'll be right back, I need to use the bathroom." Sarah says.
Clem walks out the door with Sarah and then goes to the stairs and down. She stumbles across the conversation of Omid, Carlos, and Nick.
" And he forces people to do work and killed one of my friends." Carlos continues to Omid.
" Ah Clementine is Sarah alright?" Carlos asks.
" Yes, shes fine." Clem tells him.
" Hey Clementine sorry about yelling at you back there. I just have been through some bad situations." Nick tells Clem.
" It's fine Nick plenty of people have done that before and regreted it, I know." Clem responds.
" Everyone we should get some rest for the next few days. Eventually we will have to pack up and leave, but I want to be here a while." Pete tells everyone.
* Over the course of a month, Pete has planted many fish and animals traps around the place, Sarah and Clem have become better friends and the group is more trusting
to Clementine and Omid. They discuss Carver alot and have not come across him scavenging for supplies.*
BOOM! The walker falls.
" Nice shot Nick!" Clem says.
Pete runs over to check the walker.
" No one fron Carver." Pete announces.
" Dangit, I want to see one dead." Nick spits on the ground.
