Being a fan of Big Brother (not really this season), I like googling different seasons and franchises of Big Brother. What I have uncovered is that the UK franchise may be a bit better. Especially the celebrity seasons. I just got hooked to the recent Celebrity Big Brother that is shooting right now. I really like the differences in personalities whereas Big Brother US just keeps bringing back the same personalities. Especially this season, where you have Mike Boogie and Janelle, why would you waste two big housemates by putting them with horrible housemates like Jenn and Wil. And making this a coaches season just ticked me off a bit because it just made the show seem more like a soccer tournament.
Im from American and i watch all the English Big Brothers. UK and USA are to different to be compared. Each show is made to the country's taste. In the USA we like games like BBUS. With voting, alliance, backstabbing, and ect. In the UK they dont take to well to that type of game. UK Survivor got caned after 2 season and USA Survivor is going on to season (l think) 26. If i had to pic witch on i like best it would be USA. Its more of a game. You fell more that you win because you worked hard. With UK your happy to win,but the win i kind just handed to you by the public. You really didnt have to do anything. To finish this off the USA only like public voting in games like American Idol. We have show right on ABC called The Glass House and that show is not doing so fell over here. The ratings has been going down each show.
