I've seen a lot of people talk about the friend zone and this is what I want to say about it
First of all, it isn't real. A lot of you guys (especially males) just use the friend zone as an excuse as to why girls don't like you. The friend zone is a social construct created by men who think women owe them something. You think you're nice guys who were put in the friend zone by girls who hook up with jerks and ignore you because you're not attractive or whatever. The fact is, they don't like you because you're misogynistic jerks. They probably don't even think of you as a friend, so I don't understand why you would say you're "friend zoned". Even if they did think of you as a friend, it's a lot worse to find out you've been "girlfriend zoned" by someone you cared about and thought you had a strong platonic relationship with.
