My doctor recently said to start referring to my autism as ASD instead of Aspegers.
And I feel better about that, because sometimes I try to open up to some people and tell them about it, and they mock the name of it because it sounds like “ass-burgers”.
ASD makes it sound legit, and can finally be taken seriously when I try to talk to peers and people about my brain’s functionality of a certain situation

@andrew345 thank you, I hope so as well. I can understand how it would seem funny to some people, but when I’m trying to be serious and open up to someone last thing I want is them to laugh y’know?
