She ran into the woods screaming for the Gods from above to save her from the monster that was chasing her. The trees became thicker and closer together as I ran deeper to the north, it was becoming a difficult task as the roots of the ginormous trees were showing above ground as well. I could hear the monster behind me, I panicked more as I frantically looked around for a way to lose him. I made a sharp turn to the left and made a b line to a tree that looked fairly easy to climb. I got to the tree and started to make my way up the branches, once high enough to feel safe I sat down and closed my eyes, catching the breath that has been lost since the chase has begun. A small smile formed on my lips when I convinced myself I was safe, and then I felt the monsters hands on my mouth, pressing a damp cloth against my lips, and then I blacked out.
