A Winner For The First Time Apr 25, 2010
imageFirst of all, I'd have to say that the fact I that won my third castings game still feels surreal to me. The last few days, I sure anticipated that I'd be a one fourth in the final four, but getting the number one spot was definitely something I hadn't considered.

I am so glad I was in the company of so many great people, and I have to say that I couldn't have won this without all of you. I am hoping that all of us will meet again in a future game here.

Looking back in my previous experiences in casting games, I have to admit that I have rapidly grown. I finished fourteenth in my first game, obviously because of my inactivity. Then in my second game, I fought so hard, and I am so glad I actually received the sixth place. And, now in my third game I am the absolute winner, without even being nominated once.

I figured it was suitable to add an image of supermodel Naomi Campbell, who's my inspiration and role model.

Introducing Myself... Apr 17, 2010
imageFirst of all I would like to present my readers with the quick facts, the basics of myself. I am Gemma, and I prefer being call that. The nickname Gem never really worked for me. I am currently 17, and I live in New York. It's a lovely place, if you ask me. We basically have New York Fashion Week here.

As my interests, I'd definitely list the fashion and modeling industry, music, movies, travel and occasionally politics.

I am definitely a spontaneous person, and not the type of girl that plans things weeks before. I am still uncertain of my future goals, but I would be more than pleased to pursue a career in the fashion industry. Modeling has always been my number one passion. I idolize iconic models such as Naomi Campbell, and fresh new supermodels like Lily Donaldson, Lara Stone, Gemma Ward, Jourdan Dunn, Coco Rocha, etc.

Other than that, I am very friendly, and enjoy chatting. I am so communicative.
