Big Brother- Editing vs. Live Feeds

Jul 11, 2015 by ExpectoPatronum
The crazy thing about Big Brother, is that there is live feeds. Unlike any reality show, you can check on them at any moment and get their completely candid responses to things. That's why I like Big Brother, it's 'real'.

But, some stuff gets edited a different way than it should. You can always skew someone's perceptions by carefully editing around their words. It gets taken out of context when the producers want to make a person seem a certain way.

Take your average joe, nice guy, completely average, put him in the house. Living in NA, he probably knows what sarcasm is. He says to his buddy sarcastically, "oh yeah, hate that person." Then laughs about it. It's so easy to dissect that part out and make it seem like they actually hate that person. This, sometimes, are how villains are created. You can think that average joe is a terrible person for saying that, when it really just got taken out of context.

There's so much you miss when you don't watch live feeds, I encourage every big brother fan to read updates or find a streaming website. It really is strange, seeing people who are so much like you just hang around and talk all day.
