Summer Camp USA

Hi : )

Question for the Americans... how many of you have been to Summer Camp in the past? What type of camp did you go to? and what type of Camp i.e. private, themed, girl scouts blah blah do you think is best??

Ben (Retna)is thinking of working as a counsellor on one next year so doing a bit of market research

I was in one when I was little...it was REALLY fun, we went on a field trip every day...it was kinda like a day care...for the summer...and for older kids. But it was only 4-12 so I had to stop going ):

I looked into it for a gap year.
A lot of it is paid for, I think you only pay for flights there and back?

i worked on one when i was 20.. i worked on a girl scout of america one lol.. it was fun though.. lived in a tent in the woods for two months

yeah.. i dont think i paid for flights and got a sort of wage... not much but like spending money... saved money and travelled round afterwards for a month or so though.. he wants to have a gap year but im thinking summer to usa and then to uni ha ha

Thats my thinking too, I couldn't handle a year out, I'd be bored and lose all motivation to go back to Uni.

A summer in Europe then off to become an adult, fun :)
