That beam was pretty thin and to move fast on it while trying to carry something and keep up your speed is kinda difficult
Plus there are Frisbees being thrown at you
AND it is all live (and you are trying to be the fastest and trying to not piss off production by taking too long)
so yeah - concept is easy; in reality it is very difficult.
