It's helped the Democrats by preventing third parties from running and taking their votes away, Memphis_Grizzlies. By having a system that is, more or less, explicitly two-party, other parties have almost no chance at getting in. It's why you guys have two parties whereas we have five elected parties in Canada.
I know. My point is that Democrats are just as much to blame for it as Republicans are, CiTy.
