I'll be honest I'm mainly inactive for the fasting games I play, mostly because I'm too lazy to make strategy and I thought I could just be ignored. But now I haven't been making it much further in games with my inactive strategy so I honestly might just "Play the game how you're supposed to play it", but no promises since I might just stay inactive and never play for the rest of my life, who knows!
