Rio is totally CHAOTIC atm. Nov 25, 2010
imageAs some of you know, I'm Brazilian and I live in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Lately, the mayor of the city of Rio has started with the OPP which means the peacemaker battalion to get rid of the drug traffic and stop the action of the thieves in the hills of the city (usually populated by poor people and drug dealers) Well, then all the drug dealers started with the terrorist attacks, attaching fire on several bus, motorcycles and other vehicles, so the OPP would stop invading the hills to make it a much better place to the poor families live.
Now they are doing it IN EVERY PART of Rio de Janeiro AT THE SAME TIME.
It's looking like a civil war, and I'll much probably have to go to the CENTER of Rio de Janeiro sunday to make a test, so I can go to the college I want to. (it's like the s.a.t's for you guys but each college has its own test) Now, All my family is scared, since my sister lives there, my father is there and I'll probably have to be there sunday.
UGH!
AT least i hope the plan works and Rio gets to be more peaceful.
