Yup, it's been less than 3 months on the site for me, and I've already hit silver :D Thank you to all the great people I've met on this site, and I can't wait to meet more of you!

So let's take a look back at my Stars 181 experience, shall we? :D
For those of you who know what it's like to be on the wrong side of the fence for a large chunk of the game, you'll feel my pain. I think it was day 3 and I found myself in the minority already! There was a majority made on Day 1, but it was easily broken down because of a super dramatic and emotional cast (Sorry if I bring up the emotional side of the game, people had issues with it right til the end).
I made my little mini alliances here and there, in hopes that maybe it would find me some type of safety, but it never did... Everyone had their own agenda at the beginning of the game of taking out the popularity threats. Again, thank you tengaged so much for allowing me to stay over the other 'popular' and in my own opinion amazing people (I mean, they're popular for a reason, because they're just awesome and fun to talk to!). I wasn't able to take any type of control of the game until after MattyGeee and I were nominated against each other. At that point, I knew Stokes/Faygo were going to get nominated. Yes, I do like them as people, but I voiced my opinion on how they needed to go up sooner than later, because a duo's votes are just that much more powerful as the game runs on, and I finally got to people that round. Stokes and Faygo went up for 9th place.
Again, I like them as people, but I knew that they were going to play an emotional game where whoever backstabbed them would get the brunt of their hate, and I wasn't with them at any point in the game, so I knew I'd be able to pick up Stokes as an ally once they were nominated. After that, I heard people wanted to nominate Brandon against Stoner, just to get rid of people having that title of unnominated, which is where I put one of my bigger strategic moves in to play.
I knew that with stokes being safe, Brandon being safe over Stoner, and no one wanting to nominate me due to possible official flavour status, I was able to make a makeshift three way alliance that couldn't be touched for final 7 noms. No one was going to be renominating Brandon for 7th, and if they wanted Stokes up, they'd need to put her up against someone else... Giving my makeshift alliance side a 4-3 majority over whatever the other side wanted to do. Panda/Jets and Calculate/Smi were both paired up, so this was the oppurtunity to get rid of one of the pairs. Personally, I thought Jets/Panda going up first made more sense because A) Gets rid of the last unnominated person in the game, as well as B) Calculate/Smi were closer as friends, so I thought Panda and Jets being their strategic selves, would see the benefit of getting rid of another pair. Sadly, Panda and Jets did see a way to get rid of that pair, and got me nominated against Calculate, which gave Calculate 6th place.
After that is where I personally feel I made my biggest move of the game, which led me straight in to the final 3 without getting nominated again. The morning that Calculate and I were nominated, all Calculate had on her mind was getting rid of Brandon. She told me before she left for school "I'm nominating you and Brandon". I was LIVID all day. I did not want to get nominated again and be a flavour, I wanted to play the game and show I could play it. At this point, I still had Stokes and Brandon on my side from before, and told them that I'd talk to Calculate and see if I could convince her that getting Smi/Jets up would be best FOR SMI! If I was renommed against Brandon, it would have been really easy for the cast to just be like, oh well, let's renom Bo_oM again against Smi. Calculate didn't even care when I brought it up to her, so I went to my final option.
I spoke to Smi not too long before day change and explained to him that if I went up for 5th, or if Brandon/Stokes went up for fifth (his plan), I'd be seeing him up for fourth place most likely. After some discussion, he finally saw the benefits of going up for fifth and how it could push him straight through to the final 3. I told him that he had to convince Calculate of this, or else the plan wouldn't work. He did, and she nominated, and my final 5 nominations went through as planned.
I knew that Jets would be super pissed off, and now I knew how to deal with pissed off emotional players. I didn't talk to Jets during that entire final 6 round. By doing this, I knew he knew I was after him, and I didn't make any crappy deals to make him believe otherwise. This is why Stokes and Brandon went up for fourth. They spoke to the person leaving and made him believe they were with him, when really they weren't at all. Straight away Jets wanted Stokes and Brandon up. I knew I could have rocked the boat and explained to Jets the conversation I had with Smi earlier that day before nominations, but I felt the correct strategic choice would be Stokes and Brandon, as opposed to renomming Smi against Brandon.
And that's my stars 181 story :) I really did work as hard as I possibly could every day, but you can only do so much when no one wants to work closely with you. However that may be, I still was able to gather people to my side when I needed them the most through explaining simple strategy that they should have seen a mile away on their own.
So please tengaged, I have worked hard for this, and I have lost a lot of sleep, LOL. Not even for the waking up for day changes or staying up late strategizing with people... But you can even ask MattyGeee, I went to bed and 30 minutes later I was PMing him with a new strategy that I came up with while laying in bed trying to sleep, lol. All I've had on my mind this week is stars, and needless to say, winning one has been a dream ever since I joined this site less than 9 months ago.
Please find it in your heart to vote for someone like me :) If you want to, I'd appreciate it more than you could ever believe. If you want to award your vote towards someone else, I respect your decision. I have been playig to win since day 1, not 12th, not 6th, not 2nd, but from the very beginning, for 1st place.
WOW!!! I had NO idea that I made HoF with top monthly rankers!!! I'm in complete shock at the moment, won't deny!
I really didn't expect this, and I'll probably be out tomorrow or something.... But regardless, I'm so excited right now I can't even contain my happiness!!!
I'd like to thank everyone who I've gotten to know in the past two months of me being on this site! Everyone's been so great to me and from the bottom of my heart, I'm truly blessed to have met such sweet loving people :D
