It was harder than I ever imagined. To be honest it never completely sank in what was about to happen until I had to pick out an urn for my poor, old shih Tzu. When she came back in with the catheter in her leg she was shaking and we had to comfort her. When it was finally time for the injection my poor Cinnamon passed away with me and my mom by her side and after the fact we spent 5 more minutes saying our final goodbyes and removing her collar with the same tag she had when she was a puppy. Seeing this all happen reduced me and my mom to tears and it was hard but in the end she was terminally ill with cancer and it was the right thing to do. Goodbye Cinnamon, miss you big time!!!!!!!!!
