why are they called America? Canada Is in the Americas Too but we choose to name Our country different. A lot of people don't know that Mexico, The USA, and Canada are all part of the Americas, The only reason we are divided is because of our founders, Spain landed in the Barbados, And the Vikings landed in Newfoundland That is how it got its name..
