XoxLouLouXox: An Expose.

Jul 13, 2016 by AliciaM
Now, before I get into the thick of things, I'd like to preface this blog by saying I have had a long friendship with Loulou, and it absolutely kills me to do this, but I cannot let an injustice on this scale go by without speaking my mind.

Yes, many of you have enjoyed 'eyeballing' LouLou's lovely gowns, but after this expose, you'll think twice before you plus her blogs. The truth is Loulou has her designs made in a Bangladeshi sweat shop by underpaid workers struggling to put food on the table. One of the workers, a lady called Stella, had this to say about the awful conditions she's forced to work in:

'LouLou makes us work for hours on end & if we don't perform to her standard she takes our children. She has taken three of my children now & is threatening to take my fourth. She has chained us to the desk before. It's not a life I want for me or my children but it's my only option.'

So next time you comment on LouLou's blogs saying how much you adore her designs, spare a thought for Stella in Bangladesh and her children.
