Silas, you truly were a one-of-a-kind, inspirational person and I will never forget your friendship and what it meant to me. You helped me through some difficult times both emotionally and professionally, but you never failed to put a smile on my face in our chats. Even now when I'm scrolling through our skype chat page, I can't help but smile at our conversations even under the sad circumstances. It makes me realize how much I am going to miss hearing from you because you are one of the few who truly went out of your way to write me every day, always with that eagerness and excitement to catch up with me.

I will miss you sharing bits like ^this with me... I will miss playing castings with you... I will miss our skype calls where you charmed everyone with your friendly voice... hell, I will even miss falling asleep on call only to wake up and see you making fun of my snoring lol... it's hard to believe the stuff you take for granted until you realize that it won't be happening anymore, but I cherish it all. The good, the not-so-good, everything. I am just glad that I met you.
Two years of friendship was not nearly enough, and though you are gone far too soon, I am grateful to have gotten to know you in the time we were given and I promise to never forget you.
