I think it was made for her, but she didn't like it, so Ari took it and reworked it. It doesn't reflect badly upon her, it happens all the time. Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want From Me" was written by Pink and her original demo version is identical to his. You can also tell a lot of the people Sia writes for copy her demos. Their vocals mysteriously sound like hers in her songs haha
