Hello everyone! Welcome to the finale! You’ve all spent around a month with us, and we are very happy to say that you have all EARNED the right to run our final.

Now, in the spirit of the challenge, we didn’t want a finale that only lasted a few hours. So, this finale will take place over the course of the next week! It will be non-live, obviously, but will require you to take some time out of your week to spend with your lovely hosts!

The finale will be split into 5 parts, each explained in a separate post below. These competitions will test you in different ways, and the winners will be able to confidently say they were the best competitor. Specifics as to when each part of the finale is due will be explained in each post, so pay close attention. We will host a reunion, including the crowning of both winners, on Friday, August 7th.

We will not be giving out all 5 parts at once, however. You will receive parts 1, 2 and 3 now. Parts 4 and 5 will be given to you later in the week. Again, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHEN EACH PART IS DUE! No late submissions will be accepted.

Speaking of winners, we will determine the winners by overall time. For some parts of the finale, you will strictly be timed, while for others you will be given a time that corresponds to the placement you got in the competition. The rookie and veteran with the lowest overall time after all 5 parts are completed will be crowned the winners.

If you have a question on any of the parts, feel free to reach out to either of us. We wish each of you the best of luck, and thank you for all you have done to make this season fun for us to host. Leave it all on the line, guys.

PART 1:
The first part of this challenge brings a contestant (and host) favourite format back. You will all be required to call with the hosts at some point over the next week (we will post our estimated schedules so you guys can plan a time) and we will have more details on the competition at that time. You will have to complete this part of the finale by Thursday, August 6th at 11:59PM EST (midnight).

Neither of us are available tonight, so we will start taking calls tomorrow! You can let us know when you want to do it tonight though, if you would like to.

Part 3:
The third part of this finale is called "Pig", a dice-based game. Here’s how it works:

You know we had to use Chatzy for one of these parts, and this is it. This game will use the dice roll feature in chatzy. A player’s turn starts by rolling a six-sided die. The player continues to roll the die, as long as they do not roll a 1 or decide to add their points to their overall score.

Each time the player rolls the dice, the following options exist:.;r
The player rolls a 1 – their turn ends without any points (they also lose the points from any previous rolls in the current turn).
Any other number than a 1 is rolled – the player can add that number to the points scored in their current turn and continue by rolling the dice again.
The player decides to end his current turn and add all the points from their turn to their overall score, by posting "Bank".

The game ends when a player has reached 50 points. You will be ranked by the amount of turns it takes you to reach 50 points. Your ranking will then convert to a time that will be added to your overall time.

This part of the finale is due before Tuesday, August 4th at 11:59PM EST (midnight)

For part 3, you’ll need to schedule a time to do it with us. It shouldn’t take too long.

For the puzzle, you will need to show the ENTIRE puzzle with your time. You can do that by going to your settings app and setting your zoom on whatever browser you are using to 50%

Part 4:
The fourth part of the finale is similar to the “whine for me” elimination that occurred this season. You will be given a certain amount of riddles involving words, and you will have to decode it to figure out what the phrase or term I am trying to say is. FOR EXAMPLE: If i were to post “ME REPEAT,” you would decode that as “REPEAT AFTER ME.” This will be done over skype, and you can send us 1 at a time, or multiple at a time. If incorrect, we will let you know which ones are incorrect. If everything is correct, we will stop your time.

Your time is this competition will be added to your total time. There is a maximum time of 20 minutes. You will need to schedule a time with us to complete this. This part of the finale is due before Thursday, August 6th at 11:59PM EST (midnight).

Part 5:
The fifth and final part of this finale is something you are all likely familiar with. We are not going to tell you what you are doing until you are ready to compete though!

You will have to complete this on skype (not on call though). Your time in this competition will be added to your total time. There is a maximum time of 20 minutes. This part of the finale is due before Thursday, August 6th at 11:59 EST (midnight).

Another note- for parts 4 & 5, your time will be divided by 4 before being added to your overall time (ex. If you get 16 minutes, the time added to your total will be 4 minutes)
