Following the Right to Stay Competition, the 16 remaining players will stay in their designated teams of 2 for the rest of the season. They will either win together or lose together.
Each round will begin with the Temple Mission. These will be a combination of Live, Non-Live, & Semi-Live Missions. The team who wins the Temple Mission will earn safety for themselves as well as earn the right to send two teams of their choosing into the Temple of Fate where one of them will be eliminated. Players will generally be given 24 hours to decide who they’d like to send into the Temple of Fate. If the Temple Mission is Non-Live or Semi-Live, players will have to send their decision for who they’d like to send into the Temple of Fate along with their submission for the Mission. This decision can be changed until the Mission Results are posted.
At the Temple of Fate, the two teams sent will compete in a simple game of Wood, Water, Fire which is basically an adaptation of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Wood will float on Water, Water will put out Fire, & Fire will burn Wood. The team that wins 2 of 3 rounds first will be crowned the winners of the Temple and will be allowed to rejoin the group. The other team will be eliminated.
Each team has been given a Pyramid Piece to carry along with them until the end of the game or until they are eliminated. When eliminated, teams will hand off their Pyramid Piece(s) to any team of their choosing. If they have more than one Piece, they may choose to divide their Pieces among multiple teams.
This format will continue until the Final 2, where the last 2 teams will face off in the Final Temple of Fate. There, the Pyramid Pieces that they possess will equal one life in the Final Wood, Water, Fire match. The first team to run out of Pyramid Pieces will lose and the other team will be crowned the winners of SA Reality Series 4: Endurance and split the $50 grand prize!
Precautionary Rules
In the case that a winning team cannot come to a clear consensus on which 2 teams to send into the Temple of Fate, we will move to a voting system where each of them will get 1 vote for which team they’d like to send in. If they vote for separate teams, those 2 teams will be sent in. If they vote for the same team, that team will be sent in and they will then be asked to vote again. If their vote is unanimous again, that team will also enter the Temple of Fate. If their next vote is not unanimous again, the winning team will be the 2nd team entering the Temple of Fate that round.
In the case that the eliminated team cannot come to a clear consensus on which team(s) to will their Pyramid Piece(s) to, the winners of the next Temple Mission will earn the Piece(s). If this occurs at the Final 3 leading into the Final 2, we will have one last Temple Mission to determine who earns the Piece(s).
