Welcome to your 5th Challenge here on Free Agents. This Challenge is called Divide And Conquer and here is how it works.

Within each of your teams of 6, you will have 2 Diggers, 2 Solvers, and 2 Unscramblers. 1 Digger, 1 Solver, and 1 Unscrambler will make up Group A within your team and the same will make up Group B. The groups will do the same thing at the same time, but they will be separated until the end of the Challenge.

The Diggers will start by digging to look for their Solver’s pieces. 30 separate mails containing the phrase “*digs* #(1-30)” must be sent in order to find every piece for your respective Solver. After all 30 “*digs* #(1-30)” mails are sent, you must then transfer all 6 of your Solver’s pieces to their solving table. You will do this by mailing “*transfers puzzle piece #(1-6)*” one mail at a time until all 6 pieces have been transferred. Once a digger has transferred all 6 puzzle pieces, their job is done.

Once a Digger has completed their job, it is onto their respective Solver. The Solvers will be solving their own individual Tangram puzzles, meaning your team must solve 2 separate puzzles. Each Tangram puzzle will have 6 pieces that will fit into a 6x6 board. The way the pieces are facing in the screenshot is not necessarily the way they will be facing in the solution, meaning all pieces are rotatable. Be sure to keep this in mind.

You will receive your Tangram pieces in the form of a screenshot and will respond with the solution as is outlined below:

Example solution visual:

The correct way to format your solution would be like this:
A A A F F F
A F F F C C
A A A B C E
B B B B C E
D D D B C E
D D D B C E

Solution template:
? ? ? ? ? ?
? ? ? ? ? ?
? ? ? ? ? ?
? ? ? ? ? ?
? ? ? ? ? ?
? ? ? ? ? ?

If you send an incorrect solution, you must wait out a 2 minute time penalty before being allowed to submit again. Once you have sent in a valid solution, you must send a mail saying “*transfers letter bag to Unscrambler*” to give them their half of their letters for the final portion of this Challenge. Both Solvers must complete the Tangrams in order for the Unscramblers to receive all of their letters.

After BOTH Solvers have completed the Tangrams and the Unscramblers have received all of their pieces, they will have to combine the letters they each received and work TOGETHER to spell out the first names of 3 players from Free Agents as the appear on the Wikipedia page for the season (you may use this for reference). Once they have BOTH mailed the correct 3 names, your team’s time will be stopped.

The team with the fastest overall time will be our winners and will automatically send anyone from either of the other teams into Elimination. The second place team will be safe from The Draw, but will still be vulnerable to the winning team’s vote. The last place team will be facing The Draw after the winning team’s votes are revealed.

You will have approximately 24 hours to complete this Challenge. This may be extended if time conflicts occur as all 6 people on your team have to compete together, but this will only be within reason.

Good luck guys!
