Wade and Kiara had a difficult scenario with more then one outcome.
They could either not do the comp and both get an exemption but, the 80,000 goes to the mole bank.
They could go for the 80,000 but, at least one of them would get a punishment of losing half a point on the quiz.if they both tied they both would lose the half a point but, 80,000 goes to the teams bank.
The other option is whoever did better would either take the 80,000 or take 40,000 and get an exemption.

The comp was a 4 by 4 with whoever having more numbers wins.

They decided to take the exemptions so the 80,000 goes to the mole bank
