Rules written by Josh (Sergeant) and Jackson (jacksonjoseph99) on January 5, 2019. These rules are by no means required to read, as many are fairly self-explanatory, however we highly recommend you read them to avoid further confusion. If you ever have questions about these rules or something more specific that is not listed, please contact one of us. {Our skypes are sergeant.tengaged & live:jjc.99_1, respectively.}

--- Challenges ---

• Challenges are a mix of non-live, semi-live, and live.
• Check-in will be 10 minutes prior to the time the challenge was previously stated to start at.
• If you arrive late, you can still participate in the challenge UNLESS it is elimination-based.
• Rules to certain challenges will be specified at the challenge.

--- Tribal Councils ---

• Tribal council votes will typically be due 23 hours after a live competition is slated to start, and 23 hours after the results of a non-live competition are revealed. This is not always the case, so please be on the lookout for group updates and Skype messages from the hosts.
• If you do not vote before the deadline, you will receive a self-vote.
• If you do not vote before the deadline on three separate occasions, you will be removed from the game.
• You may change your vote as many times as possible. If you are Skype messaging the votes, however, please do not just edit your message. Either re-send the vote in Skype, or edit the message and send another message letting us know that your vote was changed.
• We will only accept votes that are privately messaged to one or both of the hosts. We do not accept votes from alliance chats with other players in the game.
• If there is a tie, you will have 30 minutes to send in a re-vote. If you do not send in a re-vote, it is assumed that your vote will stay the same. If there is a SECOND tie, we will go to rocks, unless we're at final four, in which case we will go to a fire-making competition.

--- Idols & Clues ---
• The winning tribe will receive a clue to a hidden immunity idol.
• If there are three tribes and only one tribe goes to tribal council, the tribe that finishes the challenge in first place will receive a slightly better clue for their tribe than the tribe that finishes the challenge in second place.
• At the merge, immunity challenge winners will be able to give the immunity idol clue to 2 other people, 1 other person, or kept to themselves. These decisions will be made in advance by production.
• You may guess for the idol once per round.
• If you are to play an idol, you must either (A) let a host know before the voting deadline that you are playing it, or (B) if you plan on being online to play the idol, let production know that you do have an idol that you'll be playing.
• Unless stated otherwise, all idols must be played before the votes are revealed. The host of that tribal council will give a 1-2 minute window.
• The last time an idol can be played is at final 5.

--- Confessionals ---
• You are expected to write at LEAST one confessional per round. How in-depth you go with your confessionals is up to you, but it's important to give the hosts some of your reasoning to clue us (and the VL) in on the game. [Not to mention, better confessional senders are more likely to be thought of when considering returnees.]
• These confessionals can be messaged to either Josh or Jackson, however we highly encourage that you mail us both or send us both of these on Skype (pro-tip: if on Skype, production chats featuring you & the two hosts make confessional/vote sending very easy!)
• Your confessionals are kept confidential and will only be sent to the Viewer's Lounge, featuring players that are not in the game and have all vowed to not share the information within the Viewer's Lounge to others.
• ADD Jackson/Josh to any alliance chats.

--- Respect/Decency/Etc ---
• Drama and tension is expected in a group game, however personal attacks, discriminatory remarks, and malicious behavior will not be tolerated. The hosts reserve the right to remove you from the game depending on the severity of these comments.
• If you are banned during the course of this game for longer than 3 days at a time, you will be removed from the game. You must be honest about your ban length with both your tribe-mates and the hosts.
