Welcome Everyone to the Gulag!

Here in the Gulag players will compete for their right to stay in the game by playing in one of the games of the Gulag.

For this episode, our match-ups are as followed:

2388 (Mars B)/Mybash_ (Chris B) vs. jake_WD (Jacob J)/Batya (Micheal C)

The name of this Gulag is Devil Race and this is the SPEED AND TEAMWORK GULAG.

For this Gulag, each pair will be added to their own group, and you will have 24 hours to participate in the Devil Race. The Devil Race is a 2 hour marathon, where the goal is for you and your partner to throw the orb back and forth to each other as many times as possible without dropping it. Every time the orb passes the sentence of the court, one point is awarded.

So here is how this will work, when you and your partner are ready to do your run, you will make a thread in your group titled

Devil Race - Attempt #_

Where the "_" is replaced with the number attempt you are taking.

Once you have done this you will start your time by posting the phrase

PICKS UP ORB FROM CHARGING STATION

The person who picks up the orb will then throw it to their partner and you two will go back and forth (alternating posts) throwing the orb by posting the phrase

THROWS ORB TO INSERT PARTNER NAME HERE

Where you will replace the "INSERT PARTNER NAME HERE" with the name or username of your partner.

At the end of your run, the person who started must post

PLACES ORB BACK ON CHARGING STATION

That phrase must be posted before your two hours are up or before you end your attempt, otherwise you will be disqualified for that attempt.

The Devil Run has some rules that you need to know about

1. You have as many attempts as you and your partner can achieve before the deadline. However, if you ever start an attempt and do not use at least 1 hour and 30 minutes of that attempt time, then you will no longer be given any more attempts.

2. Your score will be on the LAST attempt you made. You and your partner need to be strategic in determining whether or not you should made another attempt. Once you start a new attempt, your previous attempt no longer counts.

3. You may delete posts in the Devil Run. If an attempt is checked and it is discovered that you did not alternate posting when throwing the orb, that attempt will be DQ'ed.

4. When you are satisfied, you are to make a thread titled "SET SCORE", that will stop you from making further attempts and could possibly end this Gulag early if both teams set their score.

5. In the event of a tie in the Devil Run, then the team who threw the orb the most times successfully over the course of all attempts, wins.

This Gulag starts now and you will have until tomorrow (Monday) 3 PM PST (6 PM EST) to FINISH this Gulag
