For today's challenge we'll be playing "ʞuᴉƃɥʇ ɯoʌǝs"
Presented before all of you is a 8x8 chessboard. The game will begin with the turn order being randomized, and then all of you will choose a starting square.
Each of you will then take turns moving across the chessboard, in the "L-shaped" movement path of the chess piece, the Knight. You will do this by posting in the forum what square on the board you would like to move to. You will have 3 minutes to post a valid move, otherwise you will be disqualified from the challenge.
Once a player has moved to a square, that square turns Red and can no longer be moved to by any player. When you can no longer move to any White squares, you will be in a state of 'Checkmate' and will be eliminated from the challenge.
However, there is a twist.
At some point during your turn, either before you move or after you move, you must choose to flip the square that you are on so that you transport to the Underneath portion of the board!
Yes, that's right. There are actually 128, instead of 64, squares in play! In addition, the square that you chose to make the switch on will move with you, meaning that it will now be out of play on the other side of the board.
https://imgur.com/a/ElzcxNd Board Updates will be posted at the end of everyone's turn, and the player at the start of the order's time will not start until the Board Update is posted.
The first person to be Checkmated will be the Dead Last Loser and automatically have their check placed in the strong box.
The last person standing will win this challenge. They will become the paymaster and will have the opportunity to Void the check of one of the remaining players.
Any questions?
