CF:For my Paris Is Burning look, I am wearing a Trans Pride dress in memory of a very popular queen from the movie, Venus Xtravaganza who was a Trans Queen and a Sex worker who was found murdered in her hotel room.Although they have never found her killer,Her drag mother and everyone who knew her suspected that she was murdered because she was trans and because men were particularly rough with trans women who were sex workers. I wear these colors in her memory, that she will never be forgotten and that her legendary catchphrases forever be used for all time.
