THE CHALLENGE

Alright, it's time to begin the first Hunt. This Hunt will be called "Ka-Ching!" and here is how it works.

You will have to calculate how much change a customer is suppose to receive when they buy an item. For example...

"A customer pays $19.71 for an item costing $16.21. How much change does the customer receive?"

Once you know the answer, you must write it in the box labelled "Your Answer". In this example, you would write $3.50. When writing your answers, please include;

1. The dollar sign ($)
2. The decimal point
3. 2 numbers after the decimal point

Only the first answer you submit will count and there are two ways you can be marked incorrect;

1. If one or both of you write the wrong answer
2. If one or both of you don't include the dollar sign ($) or the decimal point or the 2 numbers after the decimal point in your answer

THE HUNT

Here is how The Hunt will work in this challenge. For every correct answer your team gives, you will earn ONE step. The more steps you get, the further away you get from The Hunt team. If your team gives a wrong answer, you will not earn a step for that puzzle.

You will NOT be notified how many of them you got right, so you won't know for sure how many steps you earned. There are 20 puzzles which means you can earn a maximum of 20 steps in this Hunt.

You will only have 5 Minutes to get as many puzzles correct. Any answers submitted after 5 minutes will NOT be counted. For an answer to count, both team members must submit the answer. If one member submits it before 5 minutes is up and the other one submits it after 5 minutes, you will not earn a step for that puzzle.

The Hunt team will start ONE step behind everyone else.

You will be sent a link where you will complete the challenge.

The deadline for this challenge is tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10pm (GMT)/5pm (EST)/2pm (PST).

Remember, both you and your partner need to do the challenge together.

The Hunt is now over! Whenever myself and at least one member of The Hunt team, Issy and Josh, are online, we will go over the results live.

If the results are not done by 10pm (GMT)/5pm (EST)/2pm (PST) tomorrow (Thursday), The Hunt team will capture only the first two teams they reach. That's if they even reach any of course.

Alright, it's time to find out the outcome of The Hunt. I will now post screenshots showing the progress of The Hunt. You may check them out if you wish...or not. Below is the first screenshot which shows The Hunt team (the white circle) at the bottom.

Everyone else is somewhere on the field depending on how many puzzles they answered correctly within 5 minutes. They will remain invisible until they have been reached or 2 teams have been caught.
