Hello hello hello bitches and welcome back to the werkroom. Fuck this season is going on so fast. I feel like we started only last year. Last week we says goodbye to Cherry Pop. So one minute of silence for the legend. Thanks.

So... I have to admit. I am not much a church kinda guy but this is Heaven and if there is one thing I’ve always liked about church in movies is that moment in which everyone get up dance in celebration. And this week is all about that!

💃 For this week’s maxi challenge you will be creating a CELEBRATORY ritual dance. A joyful choreography. Just like this :

- I want you to create a choreography. It can be yourself or a collage of videos. No lipsync required. So be creative.

- No limit on how many people are in the video. It can be 1, it can be 1000. Just make it make sense.

- TIP : if you’re not recording yourself create a collage of dancing videos. Don’t just give me a YouTube link that’s already there. A good free app is VivaVideo.

- ONLY VIDEOS ALLOWED.

- ‼️ Video can be a maximum of 1 minute.

- Chose a song, you can either use something or create your own. This doesn’t really matter.

- I will judge on the overall creation. So a warning, if you’re doing an irl you better be next level amazing.

Later on the runway category is : 👒 HATS INCREDIBLE! A look with a hat. An ode to all those gorgeous church ladies with those weird af hats. But as usual, make it fashion.

You have 48 hours.

For this celebratory ritual dance, I have decided to step outside the usual to bring you a piece of Pre-Madonna’s Arab heritage. This choreography is a celebration of womanhood and coming-of-age, it’s a reflection of the bond that unites the women of the land I come from. These ladies come together, in perfect harmony, and under the watchful eye of our judgmental society, to break the “hymen” & “virginity” taboos, and to tell the world that they will not be held back by ancient and sexist traditions.

For the runway, I am continuing the homage to my heritage by giving you a traditional Lebanese folklore dress. We are known for hats tall enough to touch the skies, and this one is no different. I am filled with pride and gratitude, and this is for my mother, grandmothers, great grandmothers, and all of the women who came before me.
