After the most isolated game that has ever existed, we will finally found out who has won Solitary. For the last few weeks players have been playing as podmates and as individuals to complete a series of Tests and Treatments that have pushed them to their limits.

It's Monday 20th February and this is Solitary 1.0: Panic & Paranoia...THE FINALE!

Due to other commitments, Eric will probably not be here, but may pop in and out randomly.

Firstly, before I get to the result, exactly what our finalists had to face in the Final Treatment.

Final Treatment: The Season Rolled Into One

Good morning, evening, afternoon. Welcome finalists to your Final Treatment, which certainly won’t be a walk in the park. This challenge will be SEMI-LIVE meaning you will need to be online at the same time as BOTH Ryan and Eric (or at least one of us). Also, the challenge will feature elements of previous Tests and Treatments, but this time you will be doing them at the same time!

Throughout the challenge there will be a ball and a slide. This will act as a timer for you because as long as that ball is sliding down the slide, you can keep doing the challenge. If the ball reaches the bottom of the slide you will get a 15-minute time penalty and something bad will happen as well, but I’ll go into more detail about it later. The ball takes about 30 seconds to reach the bottom of the slide, so before 30 seconds is up, you must post *moves ball to top of slide* otherwise you’ll get the penalty!

There are THREE separate puzzles/challenges that you need to complete. Each one will be explained when you reach it during the challenge.

If the ball reaches the bottom, a new ball will automatically start coming down the slide. This means your 30 seconds starts straight away when your puzzle has been removed. Additionally, you will receive a 15-minute time penalty, so don’t think you can just let the ball continuously hit the bottom!

The player who completes all three puzzles in the fastest time will win Solitary 1.0: Panic & Paranoia. You may begin this challenge when you’re ready, please message BOTH Ryan_Jambe and EM002 to ensure one of us is around.

Puzzle #1

Below is a screenshot that has a puzzle and a blank Google Sheet (spreadsheet). You must recreate the puzzle in the screenshot on your provided Google Sheet to finish this puzzle.

In addition to the 15-minute time penalty, if your ball reaches the bottom, all your work on the puzzle will be DELETED, so you will have to start again, so make sure you keep that ball moving!

Once you think you’ve completed the puzzle, you must press the green button by posting *presses green button*. If you have recreated the puzzle EXACTLY how it is shown in the screenshot, it will show a question that you must answer correctly before moving onto the next puzzle.

Note: Don’t try copying the puzzle before we delete it cause we will see you paste it in and we will give you a big penalty!

Puzzle #2

Below are twelve tower blocks. Each one has one of the episode titles from this season of Solitary 1.0: Panic & Paranoia. Your job is to build a tower with the episode titles in order from top to bottom. To add a block to your tower, simply say the number of the block you want to add to it and it will get added on top of the previous block you’ve placed.

If the ball reaches the bottom (and you don’t move it to the top of the slide), your tower will collapse and you will have to rebuild it - so you will need to multi-task! Don’t forget that you will also get a 15-minute time penalty!

Once you have completed your tower with all twelve blocks, you must press the green button by posting *presses green button*. If you have assembled the tower CORRECTLY, then you will get to move onto your next puzzle.

Puzzle #3

You have now completed two checkpoints and only one stands in your way to the finish and it is a long stretch! In front of you there is a magnetic bridge that is connected to the special ball you have desperately tried to keep rolling without hitting the floor. If the ball is on the ramp, the bridge remains magnetized; however, if the ball hits the floor, the bridge will demagnetize itself and the whole thing will collapse right in front of you. In order to transverse across the bridge you must post *PUTS RUNG #(INSERT NUMBER HERE)* all the way up to 300.

If at ANY time the ball hits the ground, the bridge will collapse and you will have to start from the first piece all over again.

After all the 300 pieces have been placed, you must hit the final buzzer at the end by posting *PRESSES FINAL BUTTON*. Keep in mind the ball is still rolling which means you must post your 300th piece and press the button in between 30 seconds. If you take over 30 seconds, the whole bridge will collapse and you must start from the beginning like previously mentioned. If you successfully press the final button, you will have completed the Final Treatment. Your times will all be calculated to find out who the winner of Solitary: Panic & Paranoia is...THIS IS IT! GO! GO! GO!
