Welcome to a unique “social experiment” designed to push Tengagers to their personal breaking points. It’s the first instalment of the RYEM Franchise. Let’s play…Solitary 1.0: Panic & Paranoia.

For those of you who don’t know the concept or how the game works, this will be very important for you to read. Additionally, those who know how the game works should also read this section just in case we’ve made some slight changes AND to know how the twist we have works!

The game will work on a 48-hour cycle (most of the time as it depends on the challenges), so on the first day you will have a Test then the next day will be a Treatment. A Test is an opportunity to win Immunity from the upcoming Treatment while the Treatment is the challenge where somebody gets eliminated. By winning a test, you avoid the treatment, therefore can’t get eliminated!

Tests: This is a task that’s either physically or mentally challenging and the competitor or competitors who perform the best will be granted immunity from the upcoming treatment.

Treatments: These are simply painful endurance tests which can require hours of work and around the clock attention to complete.

The RYEM Franchise have added their own twist to the game playing on the emotions that everyone will be feeling throughout the game...Panic and Paranoia! This twist is called the Panic Button, which can only be pressed during the Treatment and only ONCE during the season. If you choose to press the Panic Button, you can’t get eliminated even if you finish last in the Treatment. Pushing that Panic Button could mean the difference between winning the game or finishing in a lower position!

Panic Button: Each of you have three buttons in your room. A green button, for completing challenges, a red button, for when you’re eliminated, and a Panic Button. The Panic Button gives you safety from being eliminated. If you’re in the treatment and you think you’re last, then press the Panic Button, however, you should keep in mind that you can only press it ONCE whilst the twist is in play.

Here are some quick "rules" that we have;

1. If you're eliminated because of a twist, that's not our fault, it's just how the game happens. The whole game is pre-planned, so it's not rigged or modified to suit or benefit other players.

2. Your hosts Eric (EM002) and myself (Ryan_Jambe) are both humans, so it is possible that we will make mistakes. We do ask that you don't yell at us for the mistake because, if a mistake happens, we will quickly work out a solution that gives you credit for the unfortunate situation. If you do yell at us, it's unlikely that we will find a solution for you.

3. Most importantly, try and have fun. Some challenges will push you to your limits and you might possibly want to quit, but those of you who endure will get far in the game and potentially win the whole thing!

Finally, there will be another twist in play, which I won’t be revealing just now, but you will definitely find out soon!

Once you have read these rules and conditions, you MUST confirm your spot in the season by MAILING Eric (EM002) AND Ryan (Ryan_Jambe) the following;

"I, [your username], confirm that I have read and agree to the rules and conditions of Solitary 1.0: Panic & Paranoia."
