This Scream game takes place in Scenes and Acts. There are two Scenes per Act, and someone will die in each Scene until the shocking finale. No one will see it coming (except me of course, :D). Each character can be attacked by Ghost Face at anytime after Act 1, but may not die, kill off, or severely injure any other player in the game. GodModding is not allowed, nor will it be tolerated, and neither will Metagaming, Puppeting, or Autohitting.
Metagaming - Metagaming refers to the use of OOC knowledge IC. For example if a Character A's player knows that Character B is secretly dating her boyfriend, but there's no way that Character A himself would know, but he still somehow implies it, then the character is drawing on information he doesn't actually have, even though is mun has it. It's considered very poor RPing.
Godmodding - Godmodding refers to the act of "playing god", essentially, and means implying or forcing action on another character. It is one of the cardinal rules of RP that you do not godmod another player's character. Some players have different comfort levels in godmodding. See the Courtesy section for more on Godmodding.
Auto Hitting - Auto hitting is another common role player woe, going hand in hand with Godmode. Auto hitting is essentially role playing with the assumption that whatever interaction your character made with someone else was successful- without giving them the chance to react. This is mostly noticed in combat, but can actually happen anywhere that characters are interacting.
An example would be having a character walk up to another member's character, slapping them, stabbing them, taking their keys then walking away again. This did not allow the other person to react to any of these things, when in reality, you would react if someone slapped you, then stabbed you, then tried to take your keys. This is very rude to do in an RP, and giving other people a chance to react should always be a concern if you ever want to RP with them again.
Puppeting - Going hand in hand with Auto Hitting and Godmode, puppeting is when you take control of another character without consent of the other player. This is also very rude and unfair to others and should not be done. You have no right to assume control of another player's character, and they have the right to ignore your actions if you attempt to do so. One example of puppeting is if someone were to post how their character came up to yours and asked yours if they would date theirs, then immediately posting how your character gushed in pure happiness and said yes before falling into their arms completely lovestruck. When in reality, this wouldn't happen and your character would punch them in the crotch.
