Originally the theme allowed ANY song featured on a movie/TV show soundtrack, but this rule has been restricted. We are only allowing original songs that were specifically CREATED for a movie or TV show.

For next week's theme you are required to submit an original song that was made for a MOVIE or TV SHOW soundtrack. Theme songs for TV shows are also permitted assuming they fit eligibility criteria.

A couple of rules are being lifted for the week's theme, namely the charting and year of release rules. Therefore, you are permitted to submit a song that charted in the Top 40 US/Top 20 UK Singles Chart or is from a top 5 charting album in either country. The song can also have been released before 2010. Covers are NOT permitted. Additionally, the song you submit must be OVER one minute in length and UNDER five minutes in length.

The semi-final allocation is currently uncertain, but you should still operate under the assumption that spots in the movie and TV show/series semi-finals will be decided on a first-come-first-served basis. This means that you may be asked to change your song if your desired semi-final (movie or TV show) is filled.

TSC 392 will be hosted by ianfitz0012. Do not send him your entry until AFTER the official mailer is sent out following the TSC 391 results show on Sunday. Have fun song searching!
