The land of smorgasbords, Sigrid Bernson and scandipop!
For this detour you will have to choose one of two options:
Option One: Social Democracy
You gotta make a look that SCREAMS Social Democracy! This is a very vague challenge (on purpose) so you gotta pick any aspects of this type of politics and go for it. (This does not have to be specifically Swedish Social Democracy themed)
Option Two: Midsommar
Give me a look that literally screams, MIDSOMMAR Festival (or the movie!)
You have until 11pm GMT Tuesday 23rd June (6pm EST) to complete this challenge.
Lipsyncs: Option One
Option Two:
If either of these videos are unavailable for you, please let me know ASAP!
So, hi Jana, I decided to post first my midsommar, because I ended it, later I'll post Social Democracy, I'm still coming with the idea.
CF: Lucky you Jana that I saw the movie. This is my version of the "May Queen" dress. I wanted to show a darker version of the queen dress as well, ornated with Bear real intestines, and the heart of Christian in the crown. The flowers are painted red to represent the nine tributes blood, my make up also represent it, and my stunning sweden braids, this is the most campy I've ever felt on the runway, eat it! This Dani ready to be crowned.
In order for us to achieve social democracy, we need to dismantle the capitalist values and systems that already exist to allow billionaires to thrive. Iโm serving you anti-capitalism realness with an outfit made entirely of dollar bills and coins, and with a flaming bustier to symbolize the end of capitalism. My mug and body paint is inspired by the hundred dollar bill and the blue stripe that is found on there.
Cf: This is my precious gown showing what I feel for this philosophy to regulate how our society works economically, politically and socially. For me, as a person form a 3rd world country it's a dream to live in a country where the distribution of wealth is fair for everyone, that is what I wanted to depict, Ivsticia, aka Lady Justice, as my thoughts on a society where it is fair to live. The roses are the sign of social democracy, and I'm lovin' it.
