It is a single elimination so only 1 of you will be eliminated.  BUT, if anyone chooses not to attempt the Circus, they will automatically be eliminated.

For this Circus you will be playing Word Smith.

The basis of this challenge is credited to nbkiller.

In addition, you will have 98 letter tiles which are used in Scrabble that are worth different point values.  The number of each letter you have and how many points each letter is worth are shown in the image here:

To start your Creativity Circus, you will assign these 98 tiles to anywhere on the board.  Wherever you place them will be where they are for the length of your Circus.  Since you have 98 tiles you will have 2 squares be blank.

Your goal is to then form the longest words you possibly can.  To form words you will need to use letters that are next to each other so for example you start a word on any square and then the next letter can be any letter in the 8 spaces surrounding it (up, down, left, right, diagonal).  Once you use a space on the board in a word you cannot use that space again in that specific word.  However you can use the same space on the board in multiple words.

Each word you use will then be assigned points based on the point value of each letter used in the word shown in the image linked earlier.

The twist is that if multiple people use the same word then the word will NOT COUNT and neither player will earn points for it.

When you send your official submission it must be titled:

CIRCUS 5 SUBMISSION

Your submission will include the following:

1. An image or link to an image showing how you placed each of the 98 letters in your board.
2. A list of your 10 words.
3. Preferably an image showing your board and where each word is so it is easier for me to judge.

If you do not include all letters in your board or include more letters than assigned you will have points deducted from your score based on the points of that letter x2 so if you forget to put a Q on the board or put an extra Q on the board you will lose 20 points from your score.

If after you submit an answer you want to change something you ARE ALLOWED to resubmit a new submission.  Only the most recent submission before the deadline will count.

Ultimately the 2 who earn the most number of points will remain in the game and rejoin their team while the player with the least points will be eliminated.  If there is a tie in points whoever earned the most points for their highest scoring word will win the tiebreaker.

You will have until TOMORROW (Friday) at 2 am est (24 hours, 50 minutes from now) to FINISH this Circus.  If you do not finish you will be eliminated so if you start too late I suggest just mailing me the phrases and take the penalties to at least finish.  Anyone who does not finish by then will be eliminated.

You may start at any time and take as long as you need.
